What is Red Dot Fundamentals?

Red Dot Fundamentals is a 4-hour pistol workshop where you’ll learn how to consistently acquire your dot, align your sights, and shrink your shot groups using your red dot-equipped pistol. During this workshop, 1-on-1 feedback will help refine your overall pistol accuracy skills and increase your confidence shooting your red dot pistol.

This class is for you if you feel like you’re not getting the most out of your red dot sight. We'll clear up any confusion you have about zeroing your red dot and eliminate the "hunting for the dot" problem. Plus, you'll gain valuable knowledge on selecting the right red dot and maintaining your red dot sight.W

In Red Dot Fundamentals You Will Learn

• The advantages and disadvantages of red dot optics
• What do consider when choosing, mounting, and maintaining a red dot optic
• How to consistently acquire your dot through sight alignment
• How to transition to and engage multiple threats while maintaining accuracy

To attend Red Dot Fundamentals, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old and a legal US Citizen/Resident. (Due to the Department of State ITAR regulations, tactical training is only available to US Citizens/Legal Residents. By registering for this class, the student attests that they are at least 18 years of age and a legal US Citizen/resident.)
• Be legally permitted to own a firearm in the state of Florida. (By registering for this course, the student further attests that they are legally permitted to own a firearm in the state of Florida)
• Be able to safely operate a firearm
• Complete a liability waiver before the start of the class

For Red Dot Fundamentals, you must bring:

• A valid driver's license or government issue ID
• Red dot-equipped semi-automatic pistol in one of the following calibers: .22LR, .380, 9MM, .40S&W, or .45ACP (No revolvers, Sig P320s, pocket pistols, or compact handguns allowed. )
• 250 to 300 rounds of ammunition
• OWB (Outside the Waistband) holster for your pistol
• 3 magazines (Minimum)
• Pistol magazine holster
• Comfortable, closed-toe, sturdy shoes. No sandals or open-toed shoes.
• Sturdy belt (must be able to hold up the weight of a pistol and magazine holster)
• Eye and ear protection
• Water & snacks (for the duration of the class)
