Precision Fundamentals
Precision Fundamentals / 22 SNIPER — Intro to Precision Rifle: From Fundamentals to Early-Advanced Techniques
Class Description
Precision Fundamentals' is a two-day, hands-on introduction to precision rifle shooting using the .22LR platform. Designed for civilian shooters, competitive shooters, and law-enforcement personnel seeking a low-recoil, high-feedback training multiplier, the course teaches foundational marksmanship, ballistics, wind reading, range estimation, fieldcraft, and basic shooter/observer teamwork — then advances into early precision techniques used by observation teams and snipers. Students leave able to zero and maintain a precision rifle, build repeatable positions, call shots, apply wind corrections, and execute simple concealment and detection tasks in realistic field scenarios.
This course balances classroom theory (history of precision riflecraft and basic external ballistics) with dry-fire fundamentals and progressive live-fire drills to develop repeatability and observational discipline. Instruction emphasizes skeletal support, natural point of aim, shot calling, documentation (DOPE/shot logs), and team communication. The .22LR platform demonstrates concepts that scale directly to centerfire systems — an ideal pathway for students preparing to transition into larger-caliber precision work.
(Course materials, student packet, printable range cards, and instructor guide included). 22 SNIPER
